GENERAL PRICING

Pricing may vary according to location, number of attendees, resources needed, etc.

These are prices for individuals, organizations or companies who would like to schedule an event. These prices do not necessarily reflect the price Deaf Expressions charges for their events. Please keep in mind that there might be a travel fee. We will discuss this with you beforehand. Thanks!

• PRIVATE TUTORING: $20 / hour. If more than one person wants to tutor during that same hour, it's only $10 for each additional student. Some suggestions of where to meet include our location in SW Grand Rapids, off 131 and Burton, the Wyoming Library on Michael, the Seymour Library on Alger and Eastern or or at the Home School Building on Burlingame in Wyoming (may charge for room rental). We are also happy to come to you. If you live within 20 miles of Grand Rapids, we'll gladly go to your location with no charge. Over 20 miles and there is a small travel fee. Please let us know what we can do to accommodate your needs.

• BUILDING BRIDGES WORKSHOP:  90 minutes at your location. $200. Presentation guide included for each attendee.

• RELIGIOUS SIGN LANGUAGE WORKSHOP: Two hours. $30/person. Minimum of 5 people required. Folder of information included for each attendee.

• PROJECT EDUCATION:  60 minutes. Elementary or Middle School. $100.

• SIGN WITH YOUR BABY WORKSHOP:  90 minutes. Can be done with or without baby present. $20/person. Five person minimum required.

• CHRISTMAS IN SIGN: Two hours. $25/person. Please have each person bring a dessert or appetizer. Folder of songs included for each attendee.

• CREATE-YOUR-OWN CONVERSATIONAL SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS: Five person minimum. Your location or ours (if less than 8 people). Ten weeks / 90 minutes a week. $120/person. Workbook included. 

• CREATE-YOUR-OWN FORMAL AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS: Five person minimum. For this class, we need access to a TV/DVD player and (highly recommended) a place to have an overhead projector displayed. Seventeen weeks / 3 hours a week. $350/person includes workbook ($50). Only $5/hour!
