This is a 10-week class to teach you the manual alphabet, numbering, over 400 vocabulary words, Deaf Culture and how to communicate with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. Class to be held at our home in SW Grand Rapids off Clyde Park and between Burton and 28th Street. Register Today!

FALL FORMAL AMERICAN
SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS!!!
This is a 17-week class to teach you the full and vibrant language of ASL.
American Sign Language (ASL) is the language of choice by approximately one-half million Deaf Americans of all ages. Contrary to common belief, it is not derived from any spoken language, nor is it a visual code representing English. It is a unique and distinct language, one that does not depend on speech or sound. ASL has its own grammar, sentence construction, idiomatic usage, slang, style, and regional variations-- the characteristics that define any language. In fact, it is accepted by many, if not most, colleges as credit for a foreign language. So join us to learn all about the Deaf Culture, ASL, hearing loss, and more!
There is a Minimum of 5 students required for this class to take place!

PRIVATE / SEMI-PRIVATE TUTORING
We work at your speed and cover what you're interested in. An hour is only $20 per person for the first person and $10 for each additional student during that hour! We create a personal goal and plan for each student. Contact us today to schedule your time.
We are currently offering tutoring at our location in SW Grand Rapids, off 131 and Burton, at the Wyoming Library on Michael, at the Seymour Library on Alger and Eastern, at the Home School Building on Burlingame in Wyoming (may charge for room rental), or at your location. If you would like us to come to you, if it is within 20 miles of Grand Rapids, there is no extra charge. Over 20 miles and there will be a travel fee. Contact us soon, as time slots fill up quickly!
