SIGN LANGUAGE TUTORING
PRIVATE TUTORING IS FOR YOU!
COST OF TUTORING PER HOUR IS ONLY $20/person
If more
than one person wants to tutor in the same hour, it's only $10 each additional
student!
This can take place at our location or yours! If you live within 20 miles of Grand Rapids, there is no extra charge for us to come to you. More than 20 miles and there is a small travel fee. Most sessions are held at our location in SW Grand Rapids, off 131 and Burton, at the Wyoming Library on Michael, at the Seymour Library on Alger and Eastern or at the Home School Building on Burlingame in Wyoming (may charge for room rental). But, if none of those places work for you, let us know and we'll work out an alternative!

Is your business or organization interested in learning how to communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing community? Deaf Expressions would be happy to help you with BUILDING BRIDGES. This is a 90-minute presentation teaching you about Deaf Culture and Sign Language at your workplace.
We cover proper etiquette, do's and dont's, communication challenges, the ADA and much more.

CONVERSATIONAL SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS
If you have a group of five or more students and you would like to form a class of your own, let us know. We can form a class to meet at your location (or ours, if the number of students is under 8). Classes run for 10 weeks, with 90 minutes per class. Class costs include the workbook.
We also hold classes at our location throughout the year. AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS
If you have a group of five or more students and you would like to form a formal AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE class of your own, let us know. We can form a class to meet at your location or the Home School Building in Wyoming, MI, but room rental fees apply there. Classes run for 17 weeks, with three hours per class. There is an additional fee for a workbook ($40). The cost for the class is less than $8/hour!!!

SIGN WITH YOUR BABY WORKSHOP

Babies
can use their hands to "talk" long before they develop the fine motor
skills needed for speech. Attend a one-hour general workshop on Baby Sign Language. Using
American Sign Language signs, we teach you the best way to introduce new
topics and signs for your baby or toddler. This workshop can be done with or without your little one present!

As the Bible says, "Jesus is the Way the Truth, and the Light," and so is our responsibility as Christians to show all people what Jesus taught. To lead them to become saved and celebrate an awesome eternity in heaven.
But how do we show something so vital to a population of people who are deaf or hard of hearing?
The Religious Sign Language workshop was designed specifically for Christians to share their optimism and hope that others will come to know the Lord and celebrate salvation as they move forward.

This is a one hour presentation for any school-age group. It includes information about the Deaf Culture

This festive opportunity is fun for the whole family! We even take requests for which songs you'd like to learn! So, just set up a buffet, have everyone bring a dessert or appetizer (or provide your own), throw in some Egg Nog, and you're on your way to having a blast!
